I live a good 18 miles from my school, and after i%26#039;ve gotten used to riding around my neighborhood, around town, i%26#039;m planning on taking it to school more often.
How will it do on a redone 2-lane highway that twists a bit?|||This bike will do just fine in speed. Don%26#039;t worry with keeping up with traffic doing 80mph.
However, DO count on being blown around a lot by gusts. If you%26#039;re confident on your motorcycle, this shouldn%26#039;t be an issue either.|||the ninja 250, although is relatively small bike, is still tuned sport bike that can exceed speeds of over 90 mph. so to answer your question yes you will be able to cruise at highway speeds with no problem,
although i recommend you buy a slip on muffler to change the way the motor sounds. it doesn%26#039;t sound very powerful, and the right slip on can give it a lower sound.|||Even though it is an update of a 20 year old engine in a modern frame it will keep up with most traffic.
Don%26#039;t bother with the louder can, the cars in front of you won%26#039;t be able to hear it, the cars behind you can already see you (or if they can%26#039;t they aren%26#039;t going to hear you anyway).|||It will be okay on a 2 lane highway, but please do not venture onto the interstate. You will instantly regret it.|||It will do fine but I do agree on a deeper/louder muffler. The 250%26#039;s are somewhat harder to hear than other bikes. Have fun, Be safe.|||less than 55 - 65 mphg the 250 will work. To ride 18 miles of hiway regularly I would chose a 500cc.|||it will do ok|||A 250 is to light and under powered.
