How do you remove a seat from kawasaki ninja?

I have a 2006 650r and want to remove the seat. How do i do this?|||you should be able to take your key and look on the left side of your bike almost where the bottom of the seat is and there should be a key slot put your key in and turn one way or the other and at the same time grab the back of the seat and lift up slightly it should come off.
