I am planning on getting one and I don%26#039;t know how good a 250 will do on the freeway.|||It does fine, but you will be keeping it in high RPMs which does get loud. You pretty much have to ride it high RPMs (8-10k) all the time to have it be responsive.
The 08 250 is a great looking and fun bike, but if you shop it you could get a new 07 Ninja 500 for not much more. It%26#039;ll do you better on the highways performance-wise, but the 250 is much better on gas
Good luck and have fun..|||The 250 will go fast enough to go way over any posted freeway speeds and fast enough to get around slower moving traffic.
