How do I become a real Japenese Ninja?

Please help!!! I%26#039;ve been training on sticks and tree%26#039;s and when I%26#039;m older I want to be a real Japanese ninja?|||Look on google for legitimate ninjitsu training schools.|||First you have to listen to that 80%26#039;s hit song %26quot;Turning Japanese%26quot; and convince yourself that you ARE in fact, Japanese. Start by greeting random people on the street with a bow and a %26quot;konnichiwa.%26quot; Once you%26#039;ve mastered that and have transformed yourself into a Japanese person, go to a ninja camp in Japan, plead your case to the grandmaster ninja and hope that he takes you in, as a respected fellow japanese ninja wanna-be..|||learn to spell Japanese

but its really hard to do...its not like you see in the movies, you devote your entire life to training im not sure how many proper training places there are around but mainly in japan.

the martial art the nijas use is jujitsu ( also used by samuris ) and that can be learnt at most sports complexes but to learn like the stealth and other stuff it will take ages to be a black belt in jujitsu depending on how many times a week you go and how much work you put in around 6-10 years and then you dont know everything

hope i helped|||ahh so you want to become ninja, i know many people that have studied ninijitsu after 6 months of intense studied and mastering absolute nothing they open there own school and teach. im sure you will be studying under one of them. or you can take up a real martial art one that actually works. the choose is yours.

out of the 80 or so of them that i know, i think one of them has actual studied a real style.

|||Basically, you don%26#039;t or you can%26#039;t. Unless you are lucky enough to find someone who would be willing to accept you as a student... no offense, but as someone who is not Japanese, it%26#039;s damn near impossible.

Still, the advice given you by others, thus far, is a bit off.

According to the All-Japan Martial arts registry there are a few, non-Japanese, non-Asian masters out there. Of those residing in North America, there are 5. Stephen Hayes and Richard Von Donk are NOT on that list. I do know who the 5 persons are - one of them is a woman, by the way.

The ninjutsu arts are still practiced today, both in and outside of Japan. However, their training is a bit different than you see in the movies. They, like most any other forms of centuries old martial arts, have moved into the 21st century.

If you are serious about this, your first task is to find out who those 5 people are and try to contact one of them. IF they take a liking to you, who knows? I will tell you this: 2 of them actually do run schools in the US.

One other thing, understand that ninjutsu is not the style, that is the word used for the overall subset... much like the word: karate. Ninjutsu has several styles, each specializing in different techniques. Take the time to learn what some of them are. For example, in Karate, you will find: Shorin Ryu, Goju Ryu, Goshin Do, etc.|||Buy a Black Ninja suit from e-bay. Or any color of your choosing. Than go out at night time and practise moving quietly and silently in the shadows like a cat. Sneak up to people and scare them and then disappear into the mist. Night time is the ninjas best weapon. Learn how to use the Ninja sword, ninja nun chucks, ninja throwing stars, ninja rope(for climbing). The ninjas weapons are his specialty, but treat them with respect. Work out all the time to stay fit and to fend of any attackers. Don%26#039;t become a huge monster or you%26#039;ll look out of the picture on secret ninja missions. Stay normal body shape but solid and strong. Thats the best I can help you.|||You would have to build a time machine. Go back in time during the feudal Japan period. Be born Japanese.

There are no more ninjas. However there are mercenaries. I would recommend it to anyone.

There are people who practice ninjitsu or ninjutsu, but that doesn%26#039;t make them a ninja. Just like practicing other forms of martial arts do not make you a Samurai. Neither does training in boxing make you a prize fighter.|||Its impossible dude, and I know I%26#039;m being a douche here but give up on that %26quot;dream%26quot; of yours.

Normally I don%26#039;t tell people to give up, but this situation is much too hopeless, especially for a non-Japanese like most of us answerers here. Here%26#039;s why;

1) Chances are yes, the Ninja are still around; official history says they%26#039;re extinct but do not forget they were an espionage body whose job was to hide. They likely simply vanished, and waited to resurface again, whenever it was safe to come back out. Logic dictates though it is more likely they are extinct because they were largely an espionage body during the Japanese warring states era. With the house of Toyotomi taking power, and later on the Meiji era sealing the deal by making Japan pacifist, at least for a while, what need would there be for Ninja? There MAY be a slim chance, though the odds are ridiculously small, that they are still around though.

2) Operating under the assumption that they are around; odds are modern Ninja are indistinguishable from CIA or the former Soviet Union%26#039;s KGB, or even Mossad. The Ninja were all about inovation and doing whatever was necessary to gather that crucial information for the lord they were serving. In fact in feudal era Japan it was said that %26quot;I can tell you what Samurai lord will be victorious not by the number of his Samurai, but by how many Ninja clans are loyal to him....%26quot; A single Ninja, it was said, could bring down entire armies; the vital tactical information they often stole. Because they were all about practicality, having the edge, etc, they were ALWAYS on the cutting edge of the technology of their time. Given that tradition to always be on the cutting edge, you want to be a %26quot;modern ninja%26quot; you better learn how to hack into the pentagon; if the ninja are still around, odds are they probably have %26quot;hacker ninja%26quot; or something (I%26#039;m serious). Modern day security systems are a lot more sophisticated, so odds are modern Ninja, if they exist are equally or more sophisticated; do not forget how high tech modern Japan is, odds are if they are around, so are modern Ninja.

3) Yes, they probably still hold to traditions such as learning ninjutsu, obstacle course navigation, etc, etc, etc. However I seriously doubt a Ninja will break into fort knox, and take out the soldiers there using Shuriken and blow guns I mean come on don%26#039;t be stupid! IF, again, HUGE IF, they are still around, I%26#039;m thinking some form of high tech poison. I%26#039;m thinking a dude hanging out far away, hacking into fort knox, guiding the action of the infiltrator, who is probably either not armed at all, or packing a silenced pistol. I%26#039;m thinking, the hacker is telling the dude where all the blind spots are, where the guards are going, etc. We are talking Tom Clancy stuff here. Or why infiltrate when you can surgically alter someone and place them in a high level position here in the U.S.? Surgically alter, or through a bribe system hire whatever white guys work for the army brass; in espionage you yourself don%26#039;t have to get your hands dirty you know.

I think the point I am trying to make here is that if becoming a Mossad or CIA spy is difficult, odds are becoming a modern Ninja, is even more difficult. A Ninja in the modern context would have to have the combat and demolition skills, plus endurance and strength of a Navy SEAL, but the brain power of a CIA dog or Mossad spy. Think Jason Bourne, but with an I.Q. of 190.

The closest thing, would have to be winning the %26quot;ninja warrior%26quot; tournament in Japan. It is a brutal athletic competition that has shut down both special forces soldiers from both sides of the pacific, as well as Olympic athletes. As of yet, no one has won either the men%26#039;s or women%26#039;s tournaments 5 times running, and if you can pull it off buddy if real ninja DO exist I think that will get their attention.

good luck with that.............|||You join your local Karate centre... see how much dedication it takes to pass the grading.. notice how crap the 2nd Dan black belts are (compared to how good you want to be) and realise that they spent their entire lives learning and have only achieved what they have...

Then you stop asking silly questions.. and if you%26#039;re really enthusiastic, you move to japan to take up ninjitsu but now you%26#039;ll always know that you%26#039;re never going to become a real ninja!|||First you need to become a real Japanese...

Preferably about 400 years ago.

Of course if you want to do it now, you have destroyed your primary weapon (secrecy) by broadcasting your intention on the Internet!

Sorta%26#039; like somebody telling all of the junkies that he meets: %26quot;Hi, I%26#039;m an undercover narc!%26quot;

.||| Well, if you%26#039;re that desperate then you have to travel to Japan

because...

1. That%26#039;s where Ninjitsu originally started

2. It%26#039;s only place in the world where they have real Ninja camps.

3. They got plenty of more skilled Masters there

4. That%26#039;s the only place where you can truly be graded by a real Ninja

Well...good luck|||Ninjas are dead man, they wouldnt strike fear in their enemies today like they used to. Here is the modern day ninjas of today. This is what I hope to be doing now that I am 20 , but when I was 13 I trained in trees and **** too trying to be a ninja haha good times.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fY3taMBZV...|||You can start by learning to spell Japanese. :]

Cheers|||You have to go to Japan where you need to find Hitsomi Sensei.
